The CDCE913PERF-EVM evaluation module is an evaluation board or kit manufactured by Texas Instruments. It is considered to be an evaluation and demonstration board or kit that can be used to evaluate the performance of CDCE913PERF, a high-speed, low-power, 6-channel clock generator and clocking system solution from Texas Instruments. It also includes reference design files to enable easier and faster development of applications based on the CDCE913PERF device.The application field of the CDCE913PERF-EVM board covers all industries that require high-speed, low-power and low-noise clock solutions. It is particularly suitable for applications such as communications systems, serial interface systems, cloud computing systems, Ethernet products, audio systems, medical systems, and consumer electronics. In addition, the board can also be used to evaluate the features and performance of Serial ATA (SATA) and eDP (embedded DisplayPort) interfaces.The working principle behind the CDCE913PERF-EVM board is derived from the state-of-the-art CDCE913PERF device, a 6-channel clock generator and clocking system solution from Texas Instruments. The CDCE913PERF device is a low-power, low-noise clock generator that can generate high-resolution frequencies spanning from 200 MHz to 400 MHz. It can also generate up to 6 clean LVDS (Low Voltage Differential Signaling) clock signals simultaneously, with low additive jitter. Furthermore, the device can also support power consumption down to 3 mW while providing operation up to a temperature of 105 C.The board can also be used for testing, monitoring and control purposes. It features the ability to test, validate and verify the performance and features of the CDCE913PERF device. In addition, the board also features an adjustable output frequency that can be used to change the output frequency without the need to change the cabling. It also features the ability to log and monitor four performance parameters, such as frequency output, duty cycle, symmetry and jitter.The CDCE913PERF-EVM evaluation module from Texas Instruments is an evaluation and demonstration board or kit suitable for any application that requires a high-speed, low-power and low-noise clock solution. The board comes with two reference designs to enable faster and easier development of applications based on the device.
