CDCE937PWR is a small, low-power frequency synthesizer/system clocks and clock generator that supports input frequencies up to 5MHz, capable of generating reference frequencies of up to 250MHz with a frequency synthesizer. This makes the CDCE937PWR an ideal solution for a wide range of applications ranging from the network timing to mobile communication systems.
The CDCE937PWR features an integrated low-jitter, low-system clock with a very low-noise power solution, allowing for the generation of reference frequencies with high accuracy and very low noise and jitter performance. The device also features an integrated wide frequency range clock multiplier and divider, allowing users to program the output frequency up to 250MHz and create a fully-synchronized clock solution.
The CDCE937PWR also integrates a low-jitter Phase Locked Loop (PLL) with a frequency synthesizer, allowing for the creation of a fully-synchronized frequency and phase relative to the input reference clock. As such, the device can be used for applications such as the synchronization of devices, the generation of frequency-agile oscillators or the generation of synchronous clocks.
In addition to the frequency synthesis, the CDCE937PWR also supports clocking, spread spectrum, phase-lock loop (PLL) and frequency/phase control. Additionally, the device contains a temperature-controlled voltage regulator (TCVR) and 6-bit digital-to-analog converters (DACs) for the adjustment of the PLL parameters, allowing for the fine-tuning of the frequency synthesizer.
The CDCE937PWR\'s digital interface supports dual-data rate (DDR) and single data rate (SDR) transfer modes, enabling the implementation of a wide range of applications from network interface, RF transceiver, and system control to a variety of test equipment, such as timers and digital signal processors (DSPs).
