CMSTZBU Application Field and Working PrincipleCMSTZBU stands for Current Mode Switching Technique with Zero-Crossing Burst. This technology is used as a vibrationless motor switch and a process/speed controller for several pieces of industrial equipment. Its main function is to provide a fast connection for motor drives, frequency inverters, stepper motors, stand-alone motor controllers, and high-power ESCs. By using a burst of current pulses at the moment the motor is switched, it allows the power to be switched at lightning speed without producing any harm or vibration on the motor or the surrounding equipment.To understand the working principle of CMSTZBU, it is important to first understand the underlying concept of current mode switching. In current mode switching, the power is transferred to the motor at a fixed rate, no matter how long the switch stays in either the "on" or "off" position.
