The DG417AK-E3 is a monolithic CMOS device that operates as a single-pole quad-throw analog switch. It is designed for switching analog and digital signals with low on-resistance, fast switching speeds and low power consumption. The device is available in industry standard 14-lead PDIP, SOIC and Shrink SOIC packages. The DG417AK-E3 is suitable for use in a variety of applications including sample and hold circuits, analog and digital multiplexers/demultiplexers, multiplexers with built-in amplifiers, voltage comparators and dual-channel filters.

The DG417AK-E3 is designed to provide low number of on-resistance (Ron) and fast switching speeds. It features an on-resistance of typically 28.7 Ω (min 20 Ω). The device’s on-resistance flatness is typically within 0.2 Ω(max) and its on-resistance ratio of 1%+, which ensures low crosstalk along with low power consumption (typically 110 μA). For safety and improved characteristics, the device is also protected with ESD protection and has integrated ESD clamp diodes.

The DG417AK-E3 is designed to operate from ±1V to ±9V analog supply and from 1.8V to 6V digital supply. It supports operating temperature range from -40 °C to +85 °C. The DG417AK-E3 provides high speed, low crosstalk and low power dissipation for numerous applications.

The DG417AK-E3 is designed to provide four switches in one device. Each switch consists of one normally open (NO) and one normally closed (NC) contact. The switches have a single control signal, which can be an analog or digital signal. The switches are controlled by a logic signal at the control input. When a logic low voltage is applied to the control input, the associated switches are closed and when a logic high voltage is applied, the associated switches are opened.
