The DG419DY+ is an analog switch family designed by Analog Devices, an online leader in high-performance integrated circuits. The DG419DY+ provides six normally open low-charge switches in an 8-pin package that is perfect for board space-constrained applications. The DG419DY+ is an integrated audio switch and multiplexer/demultiplexer for applications where low charge injection and low offset voltage are important. The DG419DY+ is ideal for battery-powered applications such as portable consumer electronics, audio systems, instrumentation, and automotive audio/video systems.In operation, the DG419DY+ uses a low-power, low-voltage CMOS process for minimal power dissipation. The chip features an increase in yield, improved testability, and a 3KV ESD rating. The ESD rating allows for protection from static electricity, making the DG419DY+ more reliable in static sensitive applications. Additionally, the chip offers high bandwidth and fast switching speeds, making it ideal for high-frequency applications.The DG419DY+ can be configured in either single, double, or triple polarity operations. In single polarity operation, one switch, multiplexer, or demultiplexer can be used, while in double and triple polarity operation multiple switches and multiplexer/demultiplexers can be used. Furthermore, the chip is programmable with a logic enable input and a differential enable input that enable or disable each switch or multiplexer/demultiplexers. This enables simple and flexible control of the DG419DY+ in multiplexer/demultiplexer applications.The DG419DY+ also features an active-low input latch with a power-up-reset for ease of operation. This is useful for guaranteeing that the DG419DY+ will always provide the same output signal, without need to constantly reprogram the chip. The chip also includes a unique Push-Pull feature, which allows the user to "push" or "pull" the output of the switch and/or multiplexer/demultiplexers. This feature can also be enabled or disabled by the logic enable signal and is great for quickly manipulating the DG419DY+\'s signal output.Finally, the DG419DY+ is built for use in high-quality, low-noise circuit designs. The chip features an integrated ground shield, low-noise, and an advanced ESD protected input amplifier for improved signal-to-noise ratio. Additionally, the chip features a dielectric isolation of up to 500V allowing for higher signal integrity and improved switching speeds.The DG419DY+ is designed for low-charge switching, multiplexer/demultiplexer applications, and is the ideal choice for all battery-powered applications where low-charge injection and noise-immunity are most important. The chip is available in multiple packages, it includes an active-low input latch, and the Push-Pull feature enables unique control of the outputs. The DG419DY+ also has an integrated ground shield and ESD protected Input amplifier for improved signal-to-noise ratio, making it an excellent low-noise solution to your switching needs.
