The working principle of a DG9262DY-T1 is based on the use of two CMOS control pins to choose either the multiplexer or demultiplexer operation. The two digital control pins allow asynchronous independent two-channel multiplexer/demultiplexer operation.
For multiplexer operation, two binary-coded inputs (I3,I2,I1,I0) select one of the two SW1/SW2 switches. When EN1=H and EN2=L, SW2 will be connected to the multiplexer output (O). For demultiplexer (or demux) operation, the two binary coded inputs (I3,I2,I1,I0) select one of the two SW3/SW4 switches. When EN1=H and EN2=L, O will be connected to SW4. Similarly, when EN1=L and EN2=H, O will be connected to SW3.
The DG9262DY-T1 is guaranteed BBM (break before make) operation and features a low switch-on resistance of 0.45Ω max.
