Working Principle

The transistors will be activated when the input signal VIN is greater than 4V, and the transistor will turn off when the signal is less than 4V.

Working principle of DMG964H50R

When the transistors are activated, the collector current will flow from the base to the collectors (output pins). The output voltage VOUT will be proportional to the input voltage VIN. Since DMG964H50R consists of two transistors in parallel, the output current will be doubled and the output voltage will be four times higher than the input voltage. This provides high voltage gain and improves signal to noise ratio.
