DRV5053RAEDBZRQ1 is a specialized magnetic sensor designed for linear applications and for compass orientation ICs.
DRV5053RAEDBZRQ1 is a type of magnetic linear sensor which is designed to provide precision measurements of the field strength, direction and angle of the incoming magnetic field. It consists of an integrated circuit with Hall effect elements, signal conditioning circuitry, integrated electronics and output pins. The DRV5053RAEDBZRQ1 measures linear position with a resolution of 0.7um and provides a TTL signal output with an opto-electronic indicator. It operates over a wide dynamic range from -6.6mT to 6.6mT and is capable of providing both absolute and relative measurements.
The working principle of the sensor is based on the Hall effect principle. The Hall effect is a physical phenomenon in which a magnetic field exerts an electrical force on a charge carrier in a semiconductor material. When a current carrying conductor is placed in a transverse magnetic field, a voltage is generated at right angle of the two, proportional to the strength of the magnetic field. The Hall Effect devices measure the magnetic field and convert it to an electrical signal. In DRV5053RAEDBZRQ1, this signal is further processed and conditioned to provide the output in the required format.
DRV5053RAEDBZRQ1 is ideal for a range of applications such as navigation systems, motor control and positioning systems, factory automation, automotive safety systems, aircraft systems, and medical, scientific and consumer products. It is optimized for linear and angular measurements of the incoming magnetic field with a resolution of 0.7um.
