DRV592EVM is a versatile motor driver evaluation and demonstration board which is specifically designed for the DRV5933, DRV5934 or DRV594 chipsets. This board is a small, low-cost, and easy-to-use solution which helps designers to evaluate, analyze, and optimize the DRV5933, DRV5934, or DRV594 motor drivers. DRV592EVM provides a total solution for DC brushless motor drivers and stepper motor drivers with the proven ready-to-use schematics, BOMs, and application notes.
It is integrated with a TI MCU development system which supports the MSP430 MCU. This system also features various development kits and software support tools such as IAR (Integrated Analysis & Development Environment), Code Composer Studio, and Creative Suite tools which make it easier for the user to start and finish projects quickly. The board features an extensive set of hardware peripherals and software support, such as a comprehensive motor driver library and an efficient low-level driver grouping system.
DRV592EVM offers a full suite of Motor Electronic Control (MEC) features, providing dynamic control of a variety of motor drives. Additionally, it is easy to connect the hardware on the board to external systems, such as an onboard oscilloscope, via the provided I/O ports. The board also features on-board safety features, so that users can work with confidence in their motor projects.
