The output signals can be detected, and the corresponding interrupt can be reported to the microprocessor, in order to recover the system from an unexpected condition.
The DS1233D-10/T&R device also contains a trim-potentiometer that can be adjusted to adjust the frequency of the comparator compared to the external supply voltage, synchronizing power-up and power-down sequences, and so, controlling the working timing of the system. When the voltage at the input pin drops below a preset value, the device generates an interrupt signal that can be connected to a system reset terminal.
