The DS28E01G-100+T&R is a nonvolatile, factory-programmed memory device. It is part of Dallas Semiconductor‘s secure 1-Wire® family of products, which are oftentimes used in the design and development of embedded systems and products.
The DS28E01G-100+T&R utilizes a patented 1-Wire protocol that can address multiple devices over a single bus. This allows for processing to be done at the chip level and data to be transferred from a single chip to a master controller.
