The DS3695AM/NOPB is an octal differential bus transceiver families with non-inverting receiver outputs that feature hot swap capability. It has applications in systems where board and chip hot insertion and removal is required. It allows eight differential low voltage transmitter (LVTTL) or low voltage differential signaling (LVDS) inputs to interface with eight complementary outputs of any one of the following: LVTTL, LVDS, or CML compatible. All buses have a common mode voltage range from -2.0V to +2.0V, which allows the parts to be used with either 3.3V or 5.0V power supplies.

This transceiver families is designed for high data rate applications such as those found in the Fibre Channel (FC) and Gigabit Ethernet standards.
