The DS96176CN transceiver uses an array of optical transistors, photodiodes, and associated electronics to convert data signals between electrical and optical form.The DS96176CN supports four distinct opto-electrical interfaces: the LC duplex fiber optic connector supporting one or two fiber connections; the SC fiber optic connector supporting one fiber connection; and the Single-fiber with wavelength-division-multiplexing (WDM) supporting two fiber connections for data transmission in both directions.The DS96176CN offers a range of features, including low power consumption, high-speed communications, and long-distance transmission. It also supports data rates of up to 2.488 Gbps and transmission distances up to 300 meters. In addition, the DS96176CN offers an extended temperature range (-40 to 85°C/-40 to 185°F) support, high tolerance against optical power (up to 8 dBm) and low jitter levels.The DS96176CN utilizes 6-pin transmit and receive cables to connect the transceiver to an internal or external device, such as a PC or a router.
