Aluminum electrolytic capacitors are the most common type of electrolytic capacitors. They consist of two metal surfaces, or electrodes, separated by an insulating substance called an electrolyte. The two metal surfaces are usually aluminum foil and conductive liquid. The aluminum foil serves as the anode, or negative electrode, while the conductive liquid serves as the cathode, or positive electrode. The electrolyte between the two electrodes allows electrical current to flow through them.

The EGPD250ELL392MU25H series aluminum electrolytic capacitor is the ideal choice for applications which require high-capacitance and operating voltage, low equivalent series resistance (ESR), and long shelf life. The device offers a rated capacitance range of 2.5 to 32µF with a rated voltage of 63V DC. It features an electrolyte layer within an alumina substrate which allows for stable performance even when the temp rises above 80°C. Furthermore, the capacitor has a rated temperature range of -40°C to +105°C and an operating life expectancy of up to 5000 hours.
