The EL817(S)(A)(TU)-G is an optically isolated transistor output module with photovoltaic technology. Using its light-activated transistor output, this family of products is widely used for current- and voltage-sensing loops such as over-current, short-circuit, surge control and input line presence applications. The module generally consists of input photo-transistor, LED on substrate, resistor, and galvanic isolation barrier.
