EP9307-CRZ is an advanced embedded application processor, which is based on Cavium® System Processor core and provides a complete high performance, low-power and integrated single-chip solutions. It integrates Window CE operating system as well as industry-leading designers\' software, making it an ideal choice for embedded application systems. The applications of EP9307-CRZ include industrial control, POS terminals, car navigation, industrial monitoring, memory modules and more.
The EP9307-CRZ is based on the Cavium® CN9000 System Processor and contains a 50-MIPS microprocessor core,a DSP core, four 16-bit RISC cores, a DRAM controller, a UART interface and various peripherals. The power supply voltage is 5V, satisfying the power requirements for embedded applications. The processor is fabricated using advanced CMOS technology and is designed for low power consumption (5-30mW). It also integrates multiple peripherals including QVGA/VGA LCD, UART/HDTV, USB/SM/CF card, DDR memory and NAND Flash.
The major characteristic that make the EP9307-CRZ unique compared to its predecessors is its ability to execute multiple threads simultaneously, giving it superior responsiveness and performance when compared to single-threaded processors. Another key feature is its low power consumption and high integration, meaning it can offer performance while reducing system power consumption by more than 40%. It is also capable of providing fast data transmission rates, supporting HDTV and UART output up to 32Mbps to meet the needs of high-speed data transmission.
