The EVAL-AD1940MINIBZ is a single-supply board designed to evaluate the capability of the AD1940 audio codec; a multichannel Class-AB output amplifier, and the MSL4102, a low-power, low-noise differential speaker amplifier. The board is ideal for commesial and industrial audio applications, such as PC audio, automotive audio, TVs, audio amplifiers, speakerphones, and other low-power and low-noise audio applications.
The AD1940 is capable of receiving and transmitting audio information at sample rates between 8 kHz and 96 kHz, and includes adjustable input and output gain amplification, as well as adjustable high-pass and low-pass filters. The board also includes an analog volume control, selectable digital audio filtering, and digital audio mute control. The MSL4102 is a low-noise, low-power amplifier that can be used as a single or stereo amplifier. It provides up to 5 W of output power and includes high-gain voltage feedback and a low distortion output filter.
