The EVAL-AD5934EBZ application is an evaluation and demonstration board for the AD5934 impedance conversion system. This system combines a precision, low-noise, low-power analog front end (AFE) with a powerful high speed, analog digital interface, making it the perfect platform for developing impedance based applications.The core of the EVAL-AD5934EBZ application is the AD5934 series analog-to-digital converters (ADCs). The ADCs are designed to provide up to 16 bits of resolution and sample rates of up to 806 kilohertz, making it ideal for applications requiring high accuracy and low power consumption. The EVAL-AD5934EBZ also includes a 12-bit D/A converter and an analog multiplexer, enabling the flexibility to switch between up to 16 impedance measurement points.In order to actually measure impedance, the EVAL-AD5934EBZ derives the data from an impedance bridge circuit. The impedance bridge circuit consists of two resistors in a Wheatstone bridge configuration. By connecting a signal to the bridge, and comparing the resulting voltage across the resistors, the impedance of the signal can be manually calibrated. The AD5934EBZ EVAL-AD5934EBZ then uses the data obtained from the bridge to measure impedance.The data is then processed by the system\'s digital processing block. This block consists of the control registers, RAMs and DSP blocks, which allow the user to program the system to perform impedance measurements. The system has a wide range of capabilities, including logarithmic signals, differential measurements, gain selection, frequency sweep and frequency response.In addition to measuring impedance, the EVAL-AD5934EBZ can also measure capacitance, inductance, or resistance.
