The EVAL-AD7667CBZ Analog to Digital Converter (ADC) is a versatile evaluation board that can be used for various applications. It has been designed and manufactured with sophisticated engineering tools and techniques, for optimal performance.
This board is powered by the AD7667, a 16-bit 1 MSPS ADC that is optimized for industrial and medical applications. The EVAL-AD7667CBZ adopts a full bridge transimpedance amplifier that is made up of two series-coupled transimpedance amplifiers, with maximum gain in the band of 10 fA, offering superior performance on signal-to-noise ratio. The EVAL-AD7667CBZ board has been designed to incorporate 16 AC components together with 4 DC powered active components, which can be configured to output digital signals of 16 to 24 bits. It also provides a wide bandwidth digital-to-analog converter (DAC) of 16 bits which allows flexibility in the system settings. Additionally, two serial interfaces (MISO and MOSI), as well as two parallel interfaces (parallel data read, and reset pulse) areavailable for system control.
The EVAL-AD7667CBZ features an array of microstrip test lines which enable continuous self-test of the board using the external test interface. The built-in self-test functions, as well as power-on self-test (POST) enable fast and accurate setup of the board, helping reduce setup time. The powerful Turbo-Compensated Clock Synthesizer (TCS) on board is programmed with maximum clock speed and miscellaneous support logic exchanges data and control signals between devices. The adjustable guard band settings enable precise adjustment of the dynamic range of the ADC for different system conditions.
The EVAL-AD7667CBZ offers unique features and functions that can provide precise level translating and signal buffering of low power signals and also measure the levels with a low power op-amp.
