It contains an on-chip voltage reference, one dual-channel differential sample-and-hold amplifier and two differential parallel track-and-hold amplifiers. The EVAL-AD7706EBZ also features an asynchronous serial data interface that supports the SPI/QSPI, Microwire and Parallel Clock formats. This allows easy communication between devices and reliable data transfer between devices. It is also designed to be inserted into existing systems, allowing the user to connect the evaluation board directly to the target device using the automated test interface (ATI) pins. With the ATI, the user can configure the board, set up and access registers, and upload acquired data.
