The EVAL-AD7879EBZ evaluation and demonstration board is designed to evaluate and demonstrate the AD7879, a low-power, wide-input-range, 12-bit SAR analog-to-digital converter (ADC) and track/hold amplifier (THA). The board is provided with connectors for set-up, adapters to synchronize two channels of serial digital data from the ADC, and other components for the efficient evaluation of the functions of the AD7879. The EVAL-AD7879EBZ evaluation and demonstration board is most useful when evaluating and demonstrating the AD7879\'s performance in similar applications, such as in consumer electronics, instrumentation, manufacturing automation, and environmental testing. The board is also useful in evaluating and demonstrating how the AD7879 operates in a variety of single- and dual-channel data-acquisition systems.
