Well, the AD9833 is a low-power, monolithic Direct Digital Synthesizer that uses a 4-bit programmable control word to create sine waves, triangular waves and square waves of up to 12 bits of resolution. With the help of the board’s included components, three different output signals can be produced: sine, square, and triangle. The board also features a fahrenheit-to-celsius converter circuit, so the user can easily convert temperatures from the Celsius to Fahrenheit scale and vice-versa.

With its high-bandwidth output, the EVAL-AD9833SDZ can also be used to generate precisely modulated signals for wireless communications and navigation systems.
