The EVAL-ADF7020-1DBZ5 is an RF evaluation and development kit board designed to evaluate the RF performance of the Analog Devices ADF7020 single chip transceiver. It offers users a broad range of radio functions, advanced features, and integration capabilities to enable designer\'s to easily evaluate the RF performance of the device and design a system for their desired applications.
The ADF7020 is an IEEE 802.15.4 and ZigBee compatible single chip transceiver. It features low current consumption, narrow band operation up to 250KBase/s, digital RSSI, receiver sensitivity of -112dBm, selectable channel space, programmable transmitter output power, 20bit internal packet error calculator and AES hardware encryption. The EVAL-ADF7020-1DBZ5 is designed to enable users to quickly evaluate the transceiver\'s performance in real-world conditions.
The ADF7020 is well suited for applications like short range, low data rate wireless communications, embedded applications, battery powered applications and industrial automation systems. There are several application examples in which the EVAL-ADF7020-1DBZ5 can be used such as monitoring and controlling industrial or automotive sensors via a wireless network, wireless security systems and wireless remote control of lights, appliances and other digital devices.
