ADM2484E Ultra Low Power RS-485 Transceiver. It is a fully integrated evaluation, test, and analysis platform and is designed to work with external microcontroller boards such as the Arduino and other development boards. The EVAL-ADM2484EEBZ evaluation board is an ideal platform for evaluation of the ADM2484E and its features.The EVAL-ADM2484EEBZ evaluation board is a robust and versatile platform for the evaluation of the ADM2484E. It comes with a complete suite of software resources that include evaluation libraries, reference designs, and test tools. The board is easy to use and allows users to quickly evaluate the features, performance, and operation of the ADM2484E. The EVAL-ADM2484EEBZ evaluation board is designed for testing and evaluation of the ADM2484E transceiver chip. It provides a 3.3V supply voltage and an 8-Pin DIP socket for mounting the ADM2484E. On board pull-up resistors and two relays enable the user to drive the bus lines in both the high and low voltage states. The evaluation board includes a ‚TX Voltage‘ connector, which allows for an adjustable transmission voltage between 0 and 15V. It also provides an adjustable receiver threshold voltage, allowing users to determine the optimal settings for their application.The board includes a jumper for setting the chip select line (CS). When removed, the chip select signal from the microcontroller is disconnected, which allows the user to place an external chip select line directly to the board. Additionally, the board includes shorting pins on the right side for connection to external power, ground, and the ADM2484E pins. These pins can be used to drive the TX and RX pins of the ADM2484E from an external microcontroller.The EVAL-ADM2484EEBZ evaluation board can operate in either bi-directional or unidirectional mode. In bi-directional mode, data is transmitted and received on both the A and B lines of the RS-485 bus. In unidirectional mode, one line is used for transmission and one line is used for reception of data. The board includes two LED indicators, which light up when data is present on the A and B lines, respectively.The board also includes a jumper for enabling or disabling the energy saving mode on the ADM2484E. When energy saving mode is enabled, the chip will only consume power when transmitting or receiving data. This feature helps reduce power consumption and extends the battery life of the board.The EVAL-ADM2484EEBZ evaluation board is a comprehensive platform for evaluating and demonstrating the features, performance, and operation of the ADM2484E transceiver chip.
