The EVAL-ADXL363Z-S evaluation board is a platform developed by Analog Devices Inc. EVAL-ADXL363Z-S evaluation board supports the ADXL363Z accelerometer, a 3-axis device featuring low noise, wide dynamic range, fast response time and low power consumption. It uses a capacitive micromachined sensing element to measure its acceleration in three axes. This accelerometer provides a very wide range of measurement capabilities, making it ideal for many applications such as automotive sensing, industrial monitoring, and transportation positioning.
The EVAL-ADXL363Z-S evaluation board contains the necessary components to start your exploration with the ADXL363Z accelerometer. It features a development system with a pair of Microchip PIC18 microcontrollers, a Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC), Amplifiers, and a power management circuit for the accelerometer. It also contains a convenient on-board processor to control the parametric settings. For data acquisition, the EVAL-ADXL363Z-S evaluation board is equipped with a Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC) capable of sampling input signals of up to 20 kHz.
The EVAL-ADXL363Z-S evaluation board features an 8-pin JTAG/I2C connection and termination, an external voltage regulator, and a separate power supply for the accelerometer. The accelerometer can be set to measure a single axis, or combined two or three axes for a three-dimensional measurement. The processed signals are output using an 8-bit DAC, allowing for easy and detailed data analysis.
The evaluation board has a range of advanced features, offering a great flexibility when different applications are being developed. It supports data logging, signal filtering, vibration analysis, power pulse analysis, and direction, angle, and speed measurements.
