The EVAL-ADXRS620Z evaluation board is a compact evaluation platform for the ADXRS620Z specialty iMem or digital signal processing sensor. This advanced gyroscope incorporates a low-power precision MEMS motion sensor, a digital signal processor, and an analog front-end to provide a full featured motion sensing platform with an unprecedented level of performance, integration, and flexibility. With an ultra-sensitive range of motion sensing, the EVAL-ADXRS620Z evaluation board is capable of detecting at up to 1,000 degrees/sec, and offers users an impressive range of features and capabilities.
The two main components of the EVAL-ADXRS620Z evaluation board are the ADXRS620Z motion sensor and the software associated with the board. The motion sensor comprises two components of a MEMS motion sensing system: the gyroscope and the accelerometer. At the heart of the system, the MEMS motion sensor is an ultra-sensitive and low-power gyroscope that can detect rotational movements up to 1,000 RPM.
