The EVAL-CN0203-SDPZ from Analog Devices is an example of such a kit, designed to evaluate circuits for precision signal conditioning. The EVAL-CN0203-SDPZ is suitable for a variety of signal conditioning applications. One such example is measuring the voltage and current within a motor. By using the NCD103A-500mA 2.5V Reference module, a stable reference voltage can be provided to the measuring circuitry and a low noise signal conditioning circuit. The Vector Modulation Board can then be used to measure the voltage and current of the motor using its two channels of high precision signal modulation and two channels of ultra low noise signal conditioning. By doing this, an accurate reading of the motor’s voltage and current can be obtained. The board can also be used to accurately measure other signals such as temperature and pressure.
