EVAL-CN0229-SDPZ is an evaluation and demonstration board and kit, developed by analog devices. It is designed to be a rapid prototyping tool for evaluating the performance of analog-to-digital (A/D) and digital-to-analog (D/A) converter functions.
The EVAL-CN0229-SDPZ is equipped with an Analog Devices AD9361 integrated radio frequency (RF) transceiver, an Analog Devices ADRV9361-ZRF path transceiver, and a Texas Instruments TMS320C66x floating-point DSP core. This board enables users to evaluate the system performance of the combined solution with the AD9361 integrated transceiver and the ADRV9361-ZRF path transceiver. The main applications this board is capable of include aerospace and defense radar, software-defined radio (SDR), 5G wireless telecommunications, digital signal processors (DSP), and IoT smart automation.
The EVAL-CN0229-SDPZ evaluation and demonstration board and kit is equipped with an FMCOMMS5-EBZ evaluation board, which contains all the necessary components needed to conduct tests for the integrated transceiver with the on-board DSP. With the board, users can set up a complete receive/transmitter system in four different frequency bands. This includes a low-IF (IF frequencies up to 156 MHz) and zero-IF (IF frequencies up to 40 MHz) bands, along with 2.4 GHz ISM (Industrial, Science and Medical) and 2.4 GHz industrial, scientific and medical (ISM). In addition, the board has an integrated digital input/output (I/O) interface, providing users with access to the board\'s control functions. Through these functions, users can configure the device for a variety of tasks, such as run time-domain communication for digital pre-distortion (DPD) implementation.
The EVAL-CN0229-SDPZ evaluation and demonstration board and kit is a complete solution for evaluating and demonstrating the functionality of Analog Devices\' AD9361 and the Texas Instruments TMS320C66x-powered RF transceiver. The board is designed to enable rapid prototyping, allowing users to easily evaluate the performance of both A/D and D/A convergence functions.
