EVAL-CN0253-SDPZ is a circuit evaluation and demonstration board used to evaluate the performance of linear photodetectors in the optical receivers. This device uses a low-noise gain block to provide optimized gain and noise performance for its gain and linearity. It also features a low-distortion quadrature detector, which means that it can be used to efficiently demodulate modulated input signals in optical receivers. The EVAL-CN0253-SDPZ board contains all the necessary components including the linear photodetector, gain block, and quadrature detector, along with all the circuitry required to set up the linear photodetector for use as an optical receiver.In order to evaluate the performance of the linear photodetector using the EVAL-CN0253-SDPZ board, the user needs to first connect the input signal to the circuit board using the SMA connector. The user then needs to connect the output of the linear photodetector to the SMA connector of the board, and adjust the gain and linearity of the circuit using the jumper switch.
