    The EVAL-CN0357-ARDZ is a development and evaluation board of the high precision, fully integrated and low power AD7192 to measure a wide range of different immobilized analysis using only an Inter-Integrated Circuit (I2C) communication protocol. The EVAL-CN0357-ARDZ board is ideal for portable and space-limited applications, such as medical equipment, point-of-care devices, analytical instruments and ruggedized equipment.

    The EVAL-CN0357-ARDZ board has an on-board 24-bit AD7192 ADC, which is capable of self-calibration, with a wide dynamic range of better than 99 dB. The new low-power design enables operation from a single-supply voltage as low as 1.7V, making the board ideal for designing power-constrained systems.

    The board offers excellent input protection, on-chip temperature compensation, an on-chip reference voltage for cost savings, low noise figure, and a tight temperature coefficient. The low noise and offset voltage reduces system drift, yielding stable readings over the entire operating temperature range. The AD7192 requires a single current bias (IBIAS) as the input for current sensing. This single connection simplifies the interface and lowers the power consumption for both µA and mA current sensing. Using net-ring cancellation, the common-mode voltage can be connected to the ground for easy noise filtering and improved noise performance.

    The EVAL-CN0357-ARDZ board also includes several peripheral components, such as four LEDs, a 128x64 OLED display, and two user switches, making it easier to evaluate the performance of the board.Board also comes with an on-board temperature sensor and a voltage reference for easy system configuration. The AD7193 ADC interfaces to the MCU through an I2C-controlled digital-to-analog converters (DACs). The AD7192 ADC also includes a DC resistance monitoring circuit with an on-board voltage reference.

    The EVAL-CN0357-ARDZ board can be used as a development and evaluation board for a variety of applications, such as dc control systems, medical and analytical instrumentation, and other processes in industrial and consumer systems.
