The EVAL01-HMC7150LP3D is an advanced RF evaluation and development system from Analog Devices, Inc. It is designed to assess the performance of high frequency analog and digital electronics in mixed signal systems. The EVAL01-HMC7150LP3D’s packaged solution offers the highest performance/cost ratio of any comparable development system. It’s innovative on-chip architecture renders the system almost completely immune to analog-to-digital noise translation. Digital-analog conversion on the board allows the user to measure and accurately adjust the signal transfer function.

Working Principle:
The EVAL01-HMC7150LP3D RF Evaluation and Development System is based on two-level evaluation. The first level uses the on-board hardware evaluation and development framework. This includes the HMC7150LP3D Active Evaluation Board and SPFade circuitry. The active evaluation board provides the interface between the baseboards and peripheral boards.
