Application Field
The EVALQRSICE2QS03GTOBO1 evaluation board has been designed to meet the requirements of designers, hobbyists, and students for testing and evaluating DC/DC & AC/DC (Off-Line) SMPS. The EVALQRSICE2QS03GTOBO1 board is designed to work with NXP’s latest SBS range of DC/DC & AC/DC (Off-Line) SMPS, and can provide a complete evaluation set-up for different types of applications. It is suitable for laboratory and classroom use, evaluation of the performance of the SBS range of DC/DC & AC/DC (Off-Line) SMPS, and prototype development.
Working Principle
The EVALQRSICE2QS03GTOBO1 evaluation board enables the user to control and monitor the system performance of NXP’s range SBS range of DC/DC & AC/DC (Off-Line) SMPS. The evaluation board consists of a printed circuit board (PCB) with several components such as a power supply, connectors, PWM controllers, and keypad (to control and monitor the system). It also includes a graphical LCD display to show the status of the system. The evaluation board also has an EEPROM memory for storing system configuration, which can be changed during operation.
When a DC/DC & AC/DC (Off-Line) SMPS is connected to the EVALQRSICE2QS03GTOBO1 evaluation board, a number of parameters can be adjusted using the keypad and graphical LCD display. These parameters include input voltage, output voltage, the duty cycle (defined by the PWM controller), the switching frequency, and the soft start and end times.
