FAN6100HMMPX is a fully integrated power-supply controller and monitor in a 4-pin package. It is designed to provide maximum flexibility when supporting a wide range of converters from low current (10kHz–50kHz) and high current (>50kHz) switch-mode power supplies (SMPS). The controller and monitor features a 3-in-1 solution, providing all the functions necessary for a complete power-system solution.

The FAN6100HMMPX provides a full-featured controller with fault protection, adjustable overvoltage/undervoltage protection, programmable current limit, programmable power-loss warnings, soft-start, and shutdown functions. It also offers a robust monitoring feature set with voltage, current, and temperature monitoring, as well as power-up/power-down warning messages. The device is designed to enable high reliability operation and minimize power losses by providing low quiescent current. It also features low gate-drive inhibit voltage, fast fault-out response time, and artificial spike prevention.
