Working Principle

FAN6602RM6X works on the principle of charge pump. It works by storing energy from the input voltage source in two capacitors (called the flying capacitors) and then transferring the stored energy to the load. The stored energy is used to switch the output of the converter from AC to DC. The integrated offline switcher is used to control the switching between the input AC/DC source and the output load. The output of the IC is kept at a constant voltage level with a wide input voltage range. This helps to prevent the output voltage from dropping due to AC/DC voltage fluctuation.
