Gas Discharge Tube Arresters (GDT), commonly known as Surge Protective Devices, are a device used to protect other electrical and electronic components from being damaged due to harsh or unusual environmental conditions, such as lightning strikes or power surges. Unlike standard circuit breakers, GDTs are designed to conduct in certain voltage ranges and to clamp down when the voltage is out of range. One component of the Gas Discharge Tube Arresters family is the GTCR37-900M-R10-FS.
