The HIP6311CBZ-T is a multicore digital power system optimized for high-performance, RF and analog application field. This high-performance integrated solution provides improved performance and simplified design as compared to conventional discrete approaches. This integrated power system is intended for usage in all DC-DC topologies. The HIP6311CBZ-T is designed for a wide range of DC input voltages and output voltages, and supports a variety of communication interface options. The HIP6311CBZ-T is an integrated, highly integrated process power management integrated circuit (PMIC) which provides a full range of synchronous conversion solutions with high algorithm control, excellent dynamic response performance and a series of power delivery solutions such as voltage regulation and power supply sequencing. Integrating all the functions on one die, the HIP6311CBZ-T helps simplify system design and minimize power loss. The integrated PMIC contains a PWM controller and a voltage regulator block.
The HIP6311CBZ-T\'s pulse width modulation (PWM) controller operates with a direct down-regulation principle and provides a fixed frequency and adjustable duty cycle. An internal compensation sets the overall loop compensation. The MCU is used to control the average current from the load. It provides load stored loop control, protection and sensing, and it is designed for a wide range of processing technologies.
The voltage regulator of the HIP6311CBZ-T provides accurate regulation of the output voltage. It is designed to support a wide range of operating voltages that range from 0.5V to 10V.
