RF Power Dividers (also called Splitters) are devices which subdivide the RF power of a signal into two or more paths. The HMC494LP3E is a wideband RF power divider that operates between 4 to 8 GHz. The unit exhibits low insertion loss with good isolation. It also offers very good port-to-port matching, making it ideal for applications such as WCDMA/GSM, WLAN, WiMax, GNSS, systems testing, and point-to-point radio.
The HMC494LP3E is an RF power splitter that is constructed from two Wilkinson power dividers. The power split is symmetrical with both ports having equal output amplitude therewith reducing mismatch and interference. The device is also equipped with an integrated harmonic termination to reduce/eliminate second and third order harmonics.
