ICS580M-01T is a versatile clock driving solution from the portfolio of IDT, to meet the changing needs in today\'s clocking architectures. This part is designed for low-performance general-purpose clock distribution applications.
ICS580M-01T is a non-inverting octal buffer that is organized with two differential outputs per clock input. The buffer contains two types of outputs, HCSL and LVCMOS. The High-Performance Current Steering Logic (HCSL) outputs achieve greater than 300ps of skew and less than 2ps jitter, making them highly suitable for modern, high-speed designs. Also, the LVCMOS outputs are useful for board designs requiring multiple devices to be wired in a daisy-chain fashion.
The ICS580M-01T has adjustable output impedance through a global serial interface which can be programmed with a three-bit DAC, as well as an output enable and spread disable option. The differential outputs are set to nominally 50Ohms when the DAC is programmed to 100. The ground pin, Vee, should be held at a potential of 0V for proper operation.
The ICS580M-01T accepts differential input levels from 100mV P-P to 4V P-P, and converts them to differential waveforms in the range from 1.0 to 4.0V P-P.
