The IL610A-1 is a ground referenced, input/output non-isolated digital isolator that is designed to drive one load at most. The device has a 5 V CMOS input voltage range from 0.8 V to 5 V, and a maximum isolation voltage of up to 6200 Vrms. The device is optically isolated using an internal LED which is driven by an input signal and provides an output directly to the load. The IL610A-1 has a low jitter output signal and a high pulse-width modulation (PWM) switching frequency. Furthermore, it consumes very low power and is capable of up to 1 kbit/s data rate. The data rate can be adjusted by changing the LED intensity or switching frequency. The preferred LED drive current is 10 to 20 mA, and the device is programmed with an adjustable on-off resistance. The IL610A-1 is protected from overvoltage, undervoltage, and ESD.3. Conclusion
