DC-DC switching regulators are a type of power management integrated circuit (PMIC). They are used to convert one voltage level to another, and effectively work as part of a battery-operated device to regulate its power supply. The IP2004TR is a type of DC-DC switching regulator that includes a controller, gate drivers, and an integrated high-side FET with an Rds(on) code. The IP2004TR is a unique, single chip solution for powering portable devices such as digital cameras, MP3 players, and cell phones.
