TVS - Diodes

Transient Voltage Suppressors (TVSs), often referred to as “avalanche diodes”, are semiconductor devices that protect against electrical overstress due to transient voltage surges. Generally, these devices are installed in series with the component (e.g. an IC) or power line that needs to be protected. TVSs consist of a PN junction, usually formed by a P region and an N region to reduce the voltage effects of overvoltages in an electronic circuit. The IP4294CZ10-TBR,115 is a unidirectional Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) diode with a 6.5V working voltage.
