IRKC71/10A Arrays applications and working principleThe IRKC71/10A diode rectifier array is a major component designed for both DC-to-AC conversion and AC-to-DC rectification applications in the automotive and industrial markets. In DC-to-AC applications, the fast recovered rectifier bridge array combines speed and high performance with ruggedness and thermal characteristics. In AC-to-DC applications, the wide dynamic range of the device allows for a driver applied to the array in order to regulate device switching speed.
IRKC71/10A rectifier arrays are used in a wide variety of industrial and automotive applications including power conversion, motor control and commutation, power supply design, as well as other applications where high-efficiency and low electromagnetic interference is required. It can be used for both DC-to-AC conversions or AC-to-DC rectification. Additionally, due to its high efficiency and low voltage rating it is also suitable for applications including inverters, power supplies, and high-voltage DC-to-AC converters.
The IRKC71/10A array uses a fast-recovery signal that reduces TVS noise and cross-talk while also controlling rectifier switching speed. The device is constructed with a power package that provides a high thermal conductivity, high humidity resistance, and ability to withstand high temperatures. The array features a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
The array’s low-profile surface mount case allows for a more comfortable installation and reduces air pockets in the package that can create thermal problems.
