The ISL43840IRZ is an interface-analog switch, multiplexer and demultiplexer integrated circuit (IC) manufactured by Intersil Corporation. It is designed specifically for use in distributed power amplifiers, power over Ethernet (PoE) systems and high performance industrial applications.

The ISL43840IRZ is a low-power, 8-channel, single-ended to differential multiplexer/demultiplexer with integrated low-power CMOS analog switches. It offers the flexibility of multiplexing and demultiplexing a wide variety of single-ended and differential analog signals. It provides single-ended control and excellent noise performance due to its low-power CMOS analog switches and its differential architecture. The ISL43840IRZ features an on-chip charge minimizer circuit which helps to reduce the tolerance accumulation effects and improve the overall system performance. It has a wide common mode input range from -2.2V to +7.0V and operates from a voltage range of +3.3V to +5.5V. It also features a maximum input range of ±7.5V and a continuous current of ±10mA.

The ISL43840IRZ is designed to minimize crosstalk, off-chip capacitance, attenuation and other variabilitie. Its differential architecture also replaces multiple single-ended channels with more compact differential ones to reduce board space.
