ISL43841IRZ-T is an IC which can be applied to Interface - Analog Switches, Multiplexers, Demultiplexers. This IC is quite useful as it can operate in temperature between -40°C to +125°C, making it useable for a large variety of applications. By using this device, Analog Switches, Multiplexers, Demultiplexers can be made to work at extended temperature ratings with improved speed and performance. The ISL43841IRZ-T is a CMOS single-ended 4:1 Multiplexer/Demultiplexer. It consists of two independent switches and two independent input/outputs. Together with its standby mode, the ISL43841IRZ-T can be used as a 4:1 Multiplexer, or two 2:1 multiplexers.The switch states of this device are controlled by control signals on the COM/CON control signal pins. The Multiplexer can be used as either a Single Ended (SE) or Differential (Diff) multiplexer, depending on its configuration. The COM/CON control signal selects the switch polarity and the input/ output relationship between the four I/O signals.In the SE multiplexer application, the four I/O signals are connected to each other in a single-ended manner. It can be used to multiplex two different analog signals, or two different digital signals. In the Diff multiplexer application, the four I/O signals are connected to the differential pair of two signals. It can be used to multiplex two different differential signals.In the Demultiplexer application, the four I/O signals are connected to each other in a different configuration. It can be used to demultiplex two complementary signals, or two single ended signals. The demultiplexer can also be used to multiplex/demultiplex digital/analog signals.The ISL43841IRZ-T has a standby mode which is used for power savings. The standby mode can be turned on/off using external clock signals.
