It is part of the ISL6614CBZ Power Management Integrated Circuit (PMIC) family and it is designed to meet the needs of a wide variety of applications, from simple voltage regulators to sophisticated phase-shift systems.ISL6614CBZ is a high-efficiency and high-performance gate driver that can control the switching of power MOSFETs and IGBTs in various voltage regulator and power management applications. It is well suited for applications in power management systems such as high-frequency switching regulators, DC-DC converters, and resonant converters.The ISL6614CBZ is a high-efficiency and high-performance gate driver that is capable of sustaining up to 600V of drain-to-source voltage. It has been designed to provide robust protection with programmable overvoltage protection, dual overcurrent protection, and Advanced Adaptive Body Diode Emission Reduction for improved power efficiency. It also provides a self-protection feature that shuts down the device if it senses an overvoltage condition.The ISL6614CBZ is designed to operate from input voltages of two to eight volts and output currents of up to 360mA. It can provide a gate drive voltage of up to 5V and can be used to control N-channel MOSFET and IGBT devices with a threshold voltage as low as 4V. The ISL6614CBZ is a fully integrated solution and includes an overvoltage protection circuit, an overcurrent protection circuit, and Advanced Adaptive Body Diode Emission Reduction for improved power efficiency.The ISL6614CBZ is capable of sustaining up to 600V of drain-to-source voltage and can be used to control N-channel MOSFETs and IGBTs with a threshold voltage as low as 4V. Additionally, it has adaptive body diode emission reduction and a programmable overvoltage protection circuit, which helps protect the gate driver from over-voltage conditions. The ISL6614CBZ supports a wide operating temperature range of -40 C to 125 C. It also includes an internal soft-start circuit which helps reduce in-rush current during startup and prevents large voltage spikes. The device also features a built-in programmable thermal shutdown protection which shuts down the device before it reaches unsafe temperature levels.
