It has one high side driver, one low side driver and a power supply node. The working principle of IXDD504D2T/R is that it is designed to send logic “high” and “low” signals to the gate of a MOSFET or IGBT and switch it on, depending on the logic levels of the input signal. The driver can be triggered by a wide range of input signals, from 3.3V single-ended TTL/CMOS signals to differential signals. When powered up, the driver energizes to a logic high level. The low side driver wakes up within 1µs and supplies current to the gate of the MOSFET when the input signal goes high. The current continues to flow until the signal drops below the turn-off voltage, defined as 0.2V. The driver can source a maximum of 25V and up to 150mA, which is enough to drive most load gates.
