KS8721BL-TR is a physical layer transceiver. It’s ideal to use in a variety of applications such as Ethernet networks, consumer electronics, home networking and multiple system interfaces. This device is a low cost, low power integrated physical layer transceiver designed to transmit and receive digital signals over an optical fiber.
The application field of KS8721BL-TR is mainly in optical networking products and systems. It is ideal for Gigabit Ethernet LAN on-board applications like computers, servers and routers, high-order SOHO (Small Office Home Office) networks, DSL (Digital Subscriber Line) networks and data switches. Because of its low voltage requirements, it can run on both 3.3V and 5V I/O power supplies.
