Aluminum electrolytic capacitors, also known as electrolytic or electro lytical capacitors and valve capacitors, consist of two highly conductive aluminum foils separated and connected by an electrolytic barrier. An anode and a cathode are formed at opposite ends of the aluminum foils. Generally, an external structure is added to protect the two aluminum foils and keep them from contacting each other. A oxide layer is formed on the surface of the anode foil, thus making it the dielectric layer, and a liquid or the solid electrolyte acts as the second dielectric layer for storing the energy.

LAR2D561MELZ35 is a radial leaded aluminum electrolytic capacitor developed for use in many electronics largely due to its ability to withstand high temperature fluctuations. With a temperature range of -55°C to +105°C, it can be used in various applications with temperature variations such as military and aerospace, automotive, industrial, and medical equipment. Its capacitance range is between 0.1uF and 2.2uF while its maximum operating voltage is 50V.
