Introduction

The LF353N/NOPB is a general purpose low power dual JFET input operational amplifier. It is available in an 8-pin DIP, plastic and SOIC packages. The LF353N/NOPB is also pin compatible with industry standard 741/LF-741. This dual op-amp, capable of driving up to ±7V and sinking or sourcing up to 35mA, provides excellent overall performance including AC characteristics. The LF353N/NOPB is available in a five-leaded PLCC surface mount package.

Application Field and Working Principle

The LF353N/NOPB is suitable for a wide range of applications including active filters, DC gain blocks, servo amplifiers and other linear applications. The amplifier has a very flexible supply voltage range of ±3V to ±18V, which allows it to be used in battery-powered applications. It also includes short circuit protection and provides excellent frequency response and low noise operation.
