The LF356 is a wideband general purpose operational amplifier (op amp) designed around a Field Effect Transistor (FET) input stage and bipolar output, offering excellent performance over a wide range of conditions. This operational amplifier is available in a variety of standard packages such as TO-220, DIP and SOIC and provides an industry standard pinout for convenient substitution in existing designs. Common applications for the LF356 include active filters, precision power supplies, instrumentation amplifiers, DC gains and more.
The LF356 provides a wide frequency response up to 20MHz and an excellent signal-to-noise ratio, making it an ideal choice for precision signal conditioning and instrumentation applications. The device features an inherent low noise level and low input offset voltage of less than 500µV, giving it exceptional accuracy and on-the-fly adjustability. It also comes with a wide supply voltage range of 4V to +/-18V and adjustable temperature ranges (up to +85°C) for expanded operability.
The LF356 offers low input bias current, low power consumption, and high slew rate. The high speed of the device improves overall dynamic performance for precision signal conditioning applications.
